The venue, Linden Row Inn, provided a gorgeous brick backdrop. The venue was accented with stunning lighting from The Lighting Professors that provided a romantic and classic setting. Paired with soft grey linens and unmatched florals from Amanda Burnette, their reception was dreamy! Tied together with the cutest mini succulent favors – it doesn’t get much better than that!
The little bits of personality were my favorite part of this wedding! This is why I love wedding planning so much. Getting to meet fabulous people, hear about their unique love story, and see their individual personality and style shine on their special day is the absolute best.
My top 3 favorite details at Hannah + Brandon’s wedding were:
1. Homemade desserts from the MOB.
I tasted these treats and let me tell you- they were delish! I am still dreaming about those macaroons! YUM!
My favorite dessert on the table were these ADORABLE hedgehog cookies. Oh my gosh- have you ever seen a cuter cookie!
I know all of you are wondering about the story behind the cookie, right? Hannah + Brandon met online. Shortly after, they planned to meet face-to-face. Well, Brandon was feeling very sick on the morning they were supposed to meet so he asked Hannah if they could reschedule for later in the day, provided he was feeling better. They were able to make a meeting work later in the day, but what Brandon didn’t know was that Hannah’s pet hedgehog was dying (ugh- I hate that! I am such an animal lover!! Poor sweet hedgy!!). Hannah ended up spending the whole night crying while Brandon comforted here. Y’all- that right there is the start of a beautiful love story. A) someone who doesn’t write you off because you bail on the first date and B) the other person providing you comfort and care during a time of sadness and sorrow. Crucial components to any relationship- giving grace + standing by someone in times of need and sadness.
All that love wrapped up in this adorable cookie. Truth time- I couldn’t bring myself to eat one and I almost took one home with me to preserve it haha. I can’t handle the cuteness!
2. Hannah + Brandon’s attire.
I honestly can’t imagine Brandon wearing anything else. He’s so relaxed and his Chuck Taylor shoes matched his personality and demeanor perfectly. Paired with the absence of a jacket and khaki colored suspenders- it was the perfect ensemble for this groom.
Hannah’s dress was stunning! Paired with the cutest bridal Tom’s, her awesome tattoos and her adorable succulent hair piece.- it was absolute perfection. Her attire was the prefect mix of beauty, relaxation, and her unique style. These two were rocking it while walking around Downtown RVA!
Gah- I just love them, don’t you <3 They’re two pretty cool humans and I am so happy to have met them!
3. Their mini succulent favors.I loved these favors. Succulents are very trendy right now, but the metaphors they provide are endless. Succulents are beautiful. Unique. They all take on their own shape and style. They only need a little bit of water and care to survive, but if neglected they won’t flourish. And sometimes it simply takes finding that perfect spot in your home for these cuties to really be happy.
Much like two people getting married- they each bring their own beauty and uniqueness to the table. Hannah + Brandon were both alive and well prior to finding each other, but together they have found their perfect happy place that makes them truly flourish.
Hannah + Brandon- you two are meant for each other and your love is infectious! Keep on walking a few steps ahead of the crowd. So happy to have been a part of the start to your forever.
